Arnot's chat is called the white-headed black chat in older field guides. The male (above) has the white cap. The first two images in the slideshow are female (black cap, white neck). It forages, as in these images, on tree trunks or on the ground for insects. There are two populations: click on Tanzania Bird Atlas link below for the distributions. |
