The common cuckoo is a common palearctic migrant. Note that yellow is confined to the base of the mandible and the outer tail feathers are spotted. The upper bird was photographed in Olasiti in April 2007; the lower in the Msumbugwe savanna in April 2010. Roll the cursor over the enlargement to see a second enlargement. |
