The grey cuckooshrike is larger and slenderer than the similar white-eyed slaty flycatcher and has a less prominent eye ring. The upper bird was seen in Hasama (11-06); the middle, in the Olorien Forest (10-09); the left lower, in the Udzungwa Mountains (7-07), courtesy of Dr. Louis A.
