These images show that the male Jameson's firefinch is similar to the male African firefinch with a dark grey bill and black vent and tail, but does not have black extending onto the belly. The upper three birds were photographed at Darakuta Ranch in August 2006. The lower bird was seen in Mkomazi NP in August 2010. |
