The Pangani longclaw is an East African endemic. Five of these photos (row 2 left, rows 3 & 4) were taken in Olasiti just before sunset, lighting that tends to increase the color warmth and saturation. The others were taken in Mkomazi NP. Two features that help distinguish it from the yellow-throated longclaw are the white vent and the orange or golden throat. These photos were taken at Mkomazi NP, Olasiti and TPC-Moshi.
