The slender-tailed nightjar is a northeastern Africa endemic. These images (1-11 in the slideshow) of a nesting pair of slender-tailed nightjars and their chicks were made in a grassy field adjacent to a wooded area in Olasiti in September 2006. The Macaulay Library video shows a bird in flight and landing. Click the image above to view more images.
