The afep pigeon is a forest bird in northwestern Tanzania. The top photo was taken in Minziro Forest (7-16), courtesy of Per Holmen; it and the right 2nd row birds are males with the characteristic pink tinge to the breast color. The other photos were also taken in the Minziro Forest (8-06).
