The western miombo sunbird is uncommon in miombo woodland in the southern highlands and western Tanzania. The upper two photos were taken in Mahale NP (7-16), courtesy of Paul Oliver. The right lower photo was also taken in Mahale (8-06). The others were photographed in Babati (10-06). The map is labeled Nectarinia manoensis, now changed to Cinnyris gertrudis, click the Read more link to the right for explanation.
