Most of the red-headed weavers in the slideshow were seen in gardens: at the Marangu Hotel and at the Tarangire Safari Lodge pool where the male had built several nests on a branch overhanging the pool. Image 4 shows the thin-walled nest with a long entrance tube. Immatures are like females except they have a yellow head -- see slideshow image 5 & 6.
