The yellow weaver is endemic to coastal southeast Africa. The bird is distinguished from other golden weavers by the red eyes and the chestnut color on the face and throat, see above image. All of these images were made at Pembe Abwe just south of Pangani or near Argovia Lodge north of Pangani.
