Brown Babbler
Turdoides plebejus
Home Alphabetical Taxonomic Comments

The range of the brown babbler extends to the northwest Tanzanian border. Except for white lores and chin, it is similar to the arrow-marked babbler, but the ranges do not overlap. The upper image was made in the Semliki Forest (Uganda, 1-10), courtesy of Karine Van der Vurst; the lower image, at Lake Baringo (Kenya), courtesy of Valéry Schollaert.
