The brown-breasted barbet is a large Eastern woodland bird along the Kenyan and Tanzanian coast and inland. These birds were photographed at Emayani and Pembe Abwe, coastal areas south of Pangani and at Marangu and Olasiti. Note the blue-gray color in the breast of the immature (images 9 & 10).
