The short-winged or siffling cisticola is common and widespread, see map. The upper images of a wet bird were taken in Bare (Rwanda) in November 2009. The middle images were also taken in Bare in July 2010 and the lower image, in Akagera in August 2010. All are courtesy of Jason Anderson. The bird in the upper images was wet with the effect of enhancing its color. |
