The papyrus gonolek is an east African endemic, uncommon in northwest Tanzania. Its yellow crown separates it from the black-headed gonolek. The middle and left lower birds were near Nkwenda (7-16), courtesy of Florence and Per Holmen. The other photos were taken in Bare (Rwanda, 1-10), courtesy of Jason Anderson.
