There are several images of pairs of silvery-cheeked hornbills which show the male to be larger than the female and to have a larger casque. The female has pink skin around the eye while the male has blue or dark grey. These photos were taken at Hasama, Arusha NP, Ilboru, West Kilimanjaro, Lake Manyara and Amani-East Usambaras.
