The yellow-collared lovebird is one of two East African endemic lovebirds, see also Fischer's lovebird. Its range is to the east of Fischer's but there is overlap and hybrids occur. The kissing pair was seen in Tarangire (1-08), courtesy of Steve Dolberg. The two photos of the small flock in the bare tree were taken at Minyonyo springs (10-06).
