The great white pelican is a large white bird with black flight feathers. They typically fish communally as shown in several slideshow images and enlargements. The juvenile above was seen at Lake Duluti in February 2011, courtesy of Colin Beale. The enlargements include several photos of immatures. The header and footer images were both taken at Lake Manyara.
