Great Reed-Warbler
Acrocephalus arundinaceus
Home Alphabetical Taxonomic Comments

The large size (18-20 cm) of the great reed warbler distinguishes it from other reed-warblers in our area. Often difficult to see, the coarse call (click adjacent link) may help locate it. These images were made at Lake Eyasi in January 2010, courtesy of Chris Schmeling.
