Temminck's stint is an uncommon palearctic migrant. This bird was seen in the Big Marsh at Ndutu in March 2010 and is courtesy of Paul Oliver. Note the plain back and the diagnostic white outer tail feathers, best seen in the right photo; also shown is a wood sandpiper. |
