The identifying feature of the red-breasted swallow is the blue/black cap that extends below the eye and over the ear covert. The range extends into northwestern and north central Tanzania. The image above was taken in the Semliki Forest (Uganda) in January 2010, courtesy of Karine Van der Vurst.
