The bathmocercus warblers are found in thick undergrowth and are noted for their loud whistle (click link to right to hear). This black-faced rufous warbler was seen in the Kakamega Forest (Kenya) in November 2010, courtesy of Anabel Harries; its range extends into northwestern Tanzania.
