The willow warbler is a palearctic migrant found throughout sub-saharan Africa. The left lower photo is ssp. acredula, photographed in Lukuba (9-10), courtesy of Valéry Schollaert. The upper two birds were seen at Rubondo and Kekasio, both courtesy of Paul Oliver; the 3rd row bird, at Mwiba (1-17). The next four photos are ssp. yakutensis, seen in Pembe Abwe (4-10). The right lower bird was seen in the Nou Forest (1-09); click it to see 15 enlargements.
