The pale scrub white-eye, formerly called Abyssinian white-eye, is endemic to northeastern Africa. Most of these photos were taken as the birds were feeding on insects in acacia trees: the upper four photos, in Ilboru (9-08); the next four, in Olasiti (11-07). The bird in flight was in Ngare Naibor (1-12) and the bird above, in Tarangire (11-08); click it to see ten enlargements.
