Larger than the lesser flamingo, the greater flamingo is readily identified by its pink bill with black tip, grey with black tip in the immature. Usually seen on alkaline lakes, it can be found on fresh water and along the coast. These photos were taken at Arusha NP, Ndutu, Yaida valley, Eluanata Dam and Lake Eyasi.
