The spotted greenbul is seen in small groups in the canopy of forests in northwestern Tanzania, the eastern edge of its range, see map. The upper three birds were caught in Minziro Forest (8-06). The bottom bird was also in Minziro Forest (7-16), courtesy of Per Holmen. Note the white-spotted wings and white outer tail feathers which are diagnostic.
