Crested Guineafowl

The crested guineafowl in the 2nd row photos were taken as eggs from a nest near the rift south of Lake Manyara by some children. They were retrieved by Mike Peterson who raised and released them in Olasiti (left: 1 month-old; right, 4 month-old). The family in the upper photo was seen in Udzungwa NP, courtesy of Stuart webb.
