The black-winged stilt is common throughout Tanzania on salt and fresh water. The male has a fully black back while the female is partially brown. The adult and immature were seen at Tarangire (11-14). The nest was photographed at Bagamoyo (5-12), courtesy of Riaan Marais. The video was filmed at Lake Burunge (11-12).
