The red-fronted tinkerbird is common in dry bush and woodlands of central and eastern Tanzania including forest edge and gardens. The nest was photographed at Lake Eyasi (4-10), courtesy of Chris Schmeling. The left 3rd row photo (Dar es Salaam, 10-12) is courtesy of Anne Outwater.
