The Usambara akalat is a Tanzanian endemic in the west Usambara mountains, in undergrowth at higher elevations. The other four photos of one bird were taken in the Shagayu Forest, courtesy of Valéry Schollaert. Note the white spots in front of the eye and the rufous wash on the tail.
