The upper male red-headed bluebill was photographed in the East Usambara Mountains, courtesy of Ole Krogh; the 2nd row, in the Minziro Forest. The 3rd row female was in the Kakamega Forest-Kenya, and the 4th row male, also in the Minziro FR are both courtesy of Per Holmen. The bottom photos were taken in the Kakamega Forest, courtesy of Isaac Kilusu. The male has an all-black abdomen, while the female abdomen is spotted. Also note the bi-coloured bill.
