The slate-coloured boubou is a northeast African endemic and is the only all-dark boubou in bush country. The bird on nest was seen at Ruaha, courtesy of Tamara Farriester Schoch; the 2nd row immature is courtesy of Frank Priscus Shirima. The right lower bird was seen in Orkesumet; all the others, in Tarangire. Click the photo above to see a slideshow of 19 enlargements including eggs in a nest and immatures.
