Lesser cuckoo

The Asian lesser cuckoo is small (28 cm), grey above and on the throat and head with distinct white spots on the tail and sharp black barring on a white breast. The female (right upper) is the hepatic form. The pair in the upper four photos was seen in Msumbugwe Forest.
