The cattle egret is often seen in small and large flocks in association with game or cattle. The dry season non-breeding photos above were taken in Morogoro. The 3rd row breeding photo (golden head, nape and breast) was taken at Lake Nzerakera, courtesy of Paul Oliver. The other breeding photos were taken at Lake Manyara, Olasiti and Tarangire.
