Greater frigatebirds may be seen along the Tanzanian coast, usually from August to December. The top photo of a male was taken at Moku Manu-O'ahu. The 2nd row photo is of a juvenile greater frigatebird. The next three photos (row 3) are of immature females transitioning to adult plumage. The bottom three birds in flight are adult females; those photos were all taken at Bird Island in the Seychelles, courtesy of Paul Oliver.
