The red-necked phalarope is a palearctic migrant that may be seen along the coast or on inland lakes from October to April. The flight photo was taken in Bagamoyo and the middle two photos were taken in Dar es Salaam, all courtesy of Riaan Marais. The bottom photo was taken at Lake Manyara, courtesy of Zul Bhatia.
