The three-banded plover which is common on freshwater wetlands has two black breast bands separated by a white band. The upper photo (Mapungubwe NP-SA) is courtesy of Karine Van der Vurst. The eggs were photographed by the bridge near Kuro airstrip in Tarangire. The other photos were taken at Lake Manyara, Olasiti, Tarangire, Lake Eyasi, Arusha NP and Ndutu.
