The house sparrow was introduced into Africa from Europe and reached Tanzania from Zambia in 1984. The upper juvenile was seen in Morogoro, courtesy of Paul Oliver; the female and lower male, at Ngorongoro Farmhouse, courtesy of Karine Van der Vurst; the 3rd row male, at Wasso.
