The Basra reed-warbler is a large palearctic migrant (15 cm) with a dark tail, slim body and a long pointed bill, infrequently seen in reed beds and rank vegetation along the coast and sometimes inland. The right upper photo was taken at the Pangani River. The other photos were taken at Mbuyuni Farm near Morogoro, courtesy of Kim Axmann.
