The lesser swamp warbler is a large (14-16 cm) reed-warbler with a long bill, black legs and large feet. It is larger than the similar African reed-warbler (12-13 cm) which has smaller feet. The upper bird was seen at Speke Bay Lodge, courtesy of Paul Oliver. The immature (right 2nd row) was in Olasiti. The adults were seen in Ngorongoro crater (4th & 5th rows) and Tlawi (3rd row).
