The African golden weaver is endemic to coastal southeast Africa. The bird is distinguished from other golden weavers by the red eyes and the chestnut color on the face and throat. The upper flight photo was taken at Mbuyuni Farm-Morogoro, courtesy of Kim Axmann. The other photos were taken at Suledo, Pembe Abwe or along the coast road north of Pangani.
