Bennett's woodpecker is found in open woodland and miombo in south-western Tanzania. Note the white neck and the white ear coverts with a few grey streaks in the male and the brown ear coverts in the female. The right upper bird was photographed in Kruger NP, courtesy of Mike Graham.
