Beesley's lark is a north central Tanzanian endemic. All of these photos were taken on the Asogati Plain to the east of the village of Engikaret. None of the photos shows the characteristic heel spike well. The eggs above were laid on March 29 & 30, 2013. The egg in the slider was photographed on December 13, 2008.
