The reed cormorant, also called the long-tailed cormorant, is found throughout Tanzania on sheltered waterways. Most of these images were taken at Lake Duluti, a small lake surrounded by steep banks and thick brush, and at Pembe Abwe along a small stream that flows to the ocean. The image of the adult pair was taken in Yaeda Valley (12-07) and the immature (right) was seen in Pembe Abwe (12-07). Click the left image to see more.
