These images of the red-capped lark clearly show the rufous cap and the rufous patches on the lateral breast which, along with the otherwise white breast and abdomen, are characteristic. Most of these images were made at Engikaret and Ngorongoro Crater. Click the left image to see the enlargements which include several immatures.
