The olive-flanked robin-chat is endemic to southeast Africa. The bird, ssp. grotei, in the upper three photos was seen in the Udzungwa Mountains (7-07), courtesy of Dr. Louis A. Hansen. The lower four small photos, ssp. mbuluensis, were taken in the Nou Forest (1-11); click the photo above to see 7 enlargements.
