The olive-flanked robin-chat is endemic to southeast Africa. The bird, subspecies grotei, in the upper three images was photographed in the Udzungwa Mountains in July 2007, courtesy of Dr. Louis A. Hansen The lower four images, subspecies mbuluensis, were taken in the Nou Forest in January 2011.
