We have placed the horus and little swifts on this page for comparison of the body and tail shapes. The horus swift (left upper photos) is 14 cm. and the little swift is smaller (right upper photo) at 12 cm. Note the forked tail of the horus swift and the square tail of the little swift. The markings are otherwise similar with a white anterior neck and a white rump patch that curves onto the flank.
