The adult red-billed buffalo-weaver scratched a small depression in the ground and then sunbathed for a few minutes in the depression. It then flew to a nearby branch and a juvenile took its place in the depression. Except for the juvenile in slideshow image 10, all of these birds were photographed on Naabi Hill near the Serengeti entrance gate.
