The range of the northern black flycatcher includes north central Tanzania. Similar to the southern black flycatcher, it lacks the southern's glossy sheen. The upper two images were made in the Semliki Forest (Uganda) in January 2010, courtesy of Karine Van der Vurst, and the lower image, in the Masai Mara in September 2010, courtesy of Steve Brynes.
