The upper image is a juvenile greater frigatebird. The second row of three images are of immature females transitioning to adult plumage. The lower three images are all adult females. These images were made at Bird Island in the Seychelles in October 2010, courtesy of Paul Oliver. Greater frigatebirds may be seen along the coast, usually from August to December. |
