A pair of spotted eagle-owls and their single offspring was photographed in Erwin Kinsey's garden and under his satellite dish (Ngaramtoni, 12-03, also see the enlargements). The pair has returned to this location annually to nest for many years. The left 2nd row photo was taken at Lake Chala (11-11), courtesy of Lyn Waltenberg; the right lower photo, in Olasiti (12-07), courtesy of Christopher Moses. The chicks (left 3rd row, 12-17), were seen near Moshi, courtesy of Michael Harris. The other photos were taken in Ngaramtoni, Olasiti and Lemuta. Click the right lower photo to see enlargements including chicks, fledges, juveniles and adults.
